Create and publish your first stamp card
A stamp card is the card your customers keep in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. You design it once in the dashboard; every customer who joins gets a pass built from that design. The whole thing takes about ten minutes, and you can change the look later.
Before you start, decide two things: how many stamps earn the reward, and what the reward is. Have your logo ready as a PNG with a transparent background if you have one.
Design the card
- 1
Open Cards and click New card
Sign in to the dashboard as the owner or a manager, open Cards in the side menu and click “New card”. The designer opens with four tabs: Basics, Brand, Images and Stamps.
- 2
Basics: preset, name and reward
Pick a layout preset — Coffee Shop, Salon, Restaurant, Gym or Retail. It sets the colours and stamp emoji, all of which you can change. Give the card a name; customers see it on the pass. Then set the reward tier: the number of stamps (1 to 15) and the reward text, for example “10 stamps — free coffee”. One tier is a classic single-reward card.
- 3
More than one reward (Pro)
On the Pro plan, “Add tier” lets you add up to 15 tiers, each with its own stamp count and reward. When a customer claims a tier, their stamps start again from zero for the next one. Rewards lock once customers hold the card, so settle them now.
- 4
Brand: colours
Choose a colour theme or set the card colour, text colour and band colour yourself. If the card colour is very light, the checklist will warn you that white text may be hard to read.
- 5
Images: your logo
Upload your logo — a transparent PNG works best — and pick a size. A card can be published without a logo, but it will carry no branding.
- 6
Stamps: icon and layout
Choose an emoji for the stamp, or upload your own empty and filled stamp images. Set the stamp size, the layout (linear, staggered or arc) and the spacing. The live preview on the right shows the pass as an iPhone and as an Android phone will display it.
- 7
Create card
Click “Create card”. A short checklist runs first: a stamp icon is required; a missing logo or a very light colour gives a warning you can fix or publish past. The card is then live and ready for customers to join.
After publishing
The next step is getting customers onto the card. Share your join QR code — the guide on adding the card to a customer's wallet covers it.
You can edit the design at any time. When you save a change to a card that customers already hold, YourLoop sends an update to each of their passes; the phone applies it when it next checks in with its wallet. The rewards, however, lock once anyone holds the card. To change the stamp count or the reward, create a new card.
Each card has an active switch in the list. Switching a card off hides it from the scanner, the join page and Push Notifications without deleting it.
Common questions
- How many cards can I create?
- As many as you need, on every plan including Basic — one for coffee and one for pastries, or one per service in a salon.
- Can I change the reward after customers have joined?
- No. Colours, logo and stamp design stay editable, but the stamp count and reward lock as soon as a customer holds the card. Create a new card with the new reward and switch the old one off when you are ready.
- Do I need Pro to design my own card?
- No. Colours, logo, stamp icon, size and layout are on every plan. Pro is needed only for cards with more than one reward tier.
- Does the customer need an app?
- No. The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which are already on the phone.
