How customers add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
There is no app to download. A customer scans your join QR code with their phone camera, fills in a short form, and taps one button to add the card to the wallet already on their phone. Under a minute, usually.
What the customer does
- 1
You share the join QR or link
Your join link is yourloop.app/join/your-business-name. The dashboard shows it as a QR code with “Download PNG” for printing and “Copy link” for WhatsApp or Instagram. If you run several cards, the scanner can show a QR for one specific card.
- 2
They scan it with the phone camera
The join page opens in the phone's browser, in English or Arabic, with your logo and name at the top.
- 3
They fill in the form
Full name, phone number, email and birthday — all four are required; the birthday is used for birthday rewards. If you have more than one card, they choose one here. Then they tap “Join loyalty program”.
- 4
They add the card to their wallet
The page says “You're in!” and shows one button. On an iPhone it is “Add to Apple Wallet”, which opens the Wallet's add sheet; they tap Add. On Android it is “Add to Google Wallet”, which opens Google Wallet; they tap Save. On a computer both buttons appear, but the card belongs on the phone.
- 5
The card is in the wallet
It shows your design, their stamps and a QR code. That QR is what staff scan at the counter. The pass appears in the language the phone is set to.
Lost the pass, or a new phone
The customer scans your join QR again and enters their phone number. The page recognises them, says “You already have this card”, and shows the wallet button again. It is the same card with all their stamps — nothing starts over.
Adding a customer yourself
Owners and managers can register a customer from Customers → New customer with a name, phone number and optional birthday, then assign them a card from their customer page. That puts the card on their record — but the pass still has to be added from the customer's own phone. The dialog shows a QR for exactly this: hand them the screen, they scan it, and the page offers the wallet button for the card they already have.
Common questions
- Does the customer need to download an app?
- No. Apple Wallet is built into every iPhone, and Google Wallet is on most Android phones. The card goes there.
- What if the Android phone does not have Google Wallet?
- The card needs Google Wallet to be available on the phone. If it is not installed or not available in the customer's region, the pass cannot be saved on that phone.
- Can one customer hold two of my cards?
- Yes. Each card is a separate pass in their wallet, joined from the same phone number.
- Can another business see my customers?
- No. A customer's record and pass belong to your business only. The same person at another shop is a separate customer with a separate pass.
